Time for the ceremony. Having an outdoor wedding in the Catskills mid November was a bit crazy. We always wanted an outdoor wedding, to be in nature and enjoying God's beauty. The downside was the cold, but with the help of space heaters, hand warmers, cuddles, and blankets, you almost forget about the cold with how much love was in the air.

BY THE WAY...DID WE MENTION
OUR PASTOR IS A BOSS

Besides writing our own vows, the other thing that we definitely wanted to incorporate was a nod to Katrina's Filipino culture. In traditional Catholic weddings, there are multiple traditions that symbolize various parts of a marriage. The one we wanted to put our spin on was the Veil Ceremony that symbolizes walking into the world as one. We are forever partners. But like we said, it was freezing. So our spin on the tradition was an American made wool blanket by Faribault Mills. We didn't plan it...but It was the perfect color match for our wedding attire.
